Amara Thompkins is a 2025-2026 Association for Neighborhood & Housing Development Community Development Graduate Fellow. Through the Fellowship, Amara has been paired with Pratt Area Community Council Inc. (IMPACCT Brooklyn), a nonprofit community development corporation committed to building, restoring, and preserving high-quality affordable housing. Amara will be engaging with the tenants served by IMPACCT, conducting site visits, meeting with key stakeholders, participating in real estate board committee meetings, assisting with operating agreements, SREOs, and deal books.
