The 2008 Rutgers Bloustein Community Development Studio partnered with the Essex-Newark Foreclosure Task Force, formed in 2007 and comprised of more than 40 representatives from municipal, county, state and federal government, community organizations, attorneys, researchers, and advocates. The Studio conducted research on the extent of the foreclosure crisis and explored local, state, and federal policy interventions.
