Jennifer Hinton was the Program Director of the Unity Square Community Center, Catholic Charities, Diocese of Metuchen from 2018-2023. The Center is a community-based revitalization project funded by the Department of Consumer Affairs of the State of New Jersey, providing outreach and resources, particularly in housing, community building, and food insecurity, to residents of a 36-block area of the City of New Brunswick. Jennifer received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Master’s Degree in Education from Rutgers University. She began her career as a teacher and consultant to families of children with autism. For over twenty years, she served as an administrator in the Roman Catholic Dioceses of Trenton and Metuchen in education, leadership, and pastoral care offices.
