Marcelo Remond is a Peruvian-American transportation planner in New Jersey. He studied at Rutgers University, majoring in Civil Engineering with a minor in Urban Planning and Design. In his free time, he blogs about all sorts of urban issues for Planetizen and has been reposted by Strong Towns, Streetsblog, various newsletters, Donald Shoup, and others. He is passionate about creating equitable, inclusive, and efficient transportation systems and contributing to urban planning literature, whether through his blogs or research.
