This year, five Ralph W. Voorhees Public Service Fellows worked with Keith Jones and Edmund DeVeaux, City of New Brunswick Division of Human and Community Resources; Joe Light and Jim Kershner, Emanuel Lutheran Church; Manuel J. Castañeda, New Brunswick Tomorrow, and Jennifer Apostol, REPLENISH, to better understand the current state of New Brunswick’s emergency food system to help inform community food planning efforts.
